Cheaper than Wix – and your website looks exactly the same
Wix charges $17 a month for Light. We make an exact copy of your website and host it for $9 a month the first year – at least 10% below Wix – and then our normal price minus 10%. Nothing on your website changes; you only change who you pay.

Why businesses leave Wix
- Wix requires annual payment for its lowest price. CarbonCopy has no lock-in.
- At Wix your website is built in their own editor and can't be taken with you. We copy the finished pages, so you can leave Wix without rebuilding anything.
- You keep your domain and your e-mail where they are today – we only move the website itself.
How to move from Wix – about 10 minutes of your time
- Type your address above. We see that your website is at Wix and show what you save.
- Confirm the website is yours with a code to your e-mail on the domain.
- Look at your copy, page by page, before you pay anything.
- Point the domain here. We do it automatically where we can; otherwise you get the steps – or a ready message for your DNS company.
- Cancel the hosting plan at Wix – not the domain and not the e-mail.
Is your domain at Wix too? Log in to Wix. Click “Domains”, then the three dots next to your domain and “Manage DNS Records”.
Questions about leaving Wix
Will my website look the same after leaving Wix?
Yes. We copy every page, image, font and menu and compare the copy with the original before anything switches. Anything that can't come along is shown before you decide.
Is CarbonCopy really cheaper than Wix?
Yes. Wix's regular price is $17 a month. You pay $9 a month the first year and $9 after that.
What happens to my e-mail at Wix?
Nothing. We only change the two lines for the website in your DNS. Your e-mail keeps working as today – keep the e-mail service at Wix if you have it there.
How long does it take to leave Wix?
The check takes a minute and the copy a few minutes. You spend about ten minutes yourself, mostly pointing the domain.
Can I edit texts after leaving Wix?
Yes. You change texts and images straight in your customer portal – without Wix's editor.
